The correct saddle height

After servicing many many bikes we have seen that the majority of cyclists do not fully understand how to set their saddle height correctly. Most people set it too low. What this means is that your legs do not put out the optimum power making cycling harder However, if you set your saddle to the correct height, it will make your peddling so much more efficient.

The thing is, getting the right saddle height is actually very easy. All you need to do is put you heal on to you pedal whilst sitting on your bike saddle and you leg should be completely straight. If it is bent, the saddle is too low, if you heal does not touch the pedal, it is too high. It is no harder than that.
